Following the recent 1st Joint Conference of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce, Cities and Universities that has been organised in Split (16 – 18 October 2018) and Olympia Conference “Cruise sector in the EUSAIR Area: challenges and futureperspectives” (27 of June 2018), we are pleased to share with you one of the main outcomes regarding the various typology of impacts of the cruise tourism sector within the Adriatic – Ionian Macroregion.

The relevance of this topic had been already highlighted during the Workshop held in Olympia, within the activity foreseen in  the framework of the AI-NURECC Task Force on Tourism and Cultural Heritage. A very first outcome of the workshop, developed thanks to the scientific support of Ms Eva Stefanidaki  (University of the Aegean – Reship), is here available.

The Working group  “CONNECTING THE REGION “Adriatic-Ionian Corridors” held in Split  was an important opportunity of  follow-up of Cruise sector Event held in Olympia and for further topic discussion. Here the presentation held in Split.

The final aim of this initiative is to define a sustainable business model that could become a point of reference within every cruise host town in the Adriatic and Ionian Macroregion.

In order to reach this goal, we kindly ask you to spare few minutes of your time to fill in the following AI-NURECC SURVEY ON THE IMPACT OF CRUISE TOURISM IN EUSAIR AREA.

We look forward to hearing your feedback and should you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your precious collaboration!
