The Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce, in the framework of the AI-NURECC initiative, are pleased to announce the Event:
“Doing Business in the Creative and Cultural Field – How to develop your business idea”
The event, organized in collaboration with University of Sarajevo and UNIADRION, will take place on 8th of March in Sarajevo (BiH).
The purpose of the workshop is to encourage and support the creation of start-ups that will link their activities to cultural heritage and operate in the fields of Archaeological Sites, Architecture, Events, Food, Live Performances, Movies, Museums, Music, Publishing, Theme Parks, or Visual Arts. In fact, the Adriatic-Ionian region has great potential to develop competitive and innovative creative and cultural industries that would benefit a wide range of stakeholders in the area.
The Training Workshop will be split in two sessions: the training-session will be held in the morning, when professors and experts on territorial development will showcase methodologies and territorial, as well as financial opportunities. Then, in the afternoon, during the workshop/world café on “How to develop your business idea in the creative and cultural field”, participants will have the opportunity to start developing a concrete business idea by exploiting the knowledge of highly experienced tutors.
At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and a start-up package with materials useful to further develop entrepreneurial skills as self-study.

The Adriatic Ionian Network of Universities, Regions, Chambers of Commerce and Cities (AI-NURECC Initiative) is an initiative of key stakeholders of the Adriatic Ionian Region, which have decided to join their efforts aimed at supporting the implementation of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Sea Region (EUSAIR), ensuring wide and indepth territorial coverage, at regional and local level.
The initiative lead partner is the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions – CPMR. Other partners, beside the Forum AIC are: the Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Cities, the Association of Adriatic and Ionian Universities – UniAdrion and the Adriatic and Ionian Euroregion.
