Objectives
To improve production capacity and organizational chain of fruit and vegetables in Croatia and to transfer the Italian. know-how on organization of the distribution (storage, refrigeration, storage) of food products
The project aims to:
– Ensure a more efficient management of the fruit and vegetable sector in Croatia;
– Transfer the Italian know-how relating to the management of the markets of third generation;
– Transfer the regulatory framework to support the sector in some issues such as traceability and quality standards;
– Aggregate around the project publics and privates in various capacities dealing with the development of the fruit and. vegetable sector and agriculture (Italian association model)
Activities
Phase 1 – Analysis of the context:
– Mapping the areas which hold the fruit and vegetable production in Croatia and analysis of the supply chain;
– Identification of the specific needs of Croatian workers in the sector;
Phase 2 – Know-how transfer and training:
– Institution building on the legal regulation of the sector, the organizational model best suited to the type of producer. and traceability
– Organization of a study tour in Italy for distribution operators Croatian visits and meetings with the operators of the food. wholesale Valley Pescara;
– Training, transfer Italian know-how on techniques for storage and transport of fresh product;
Phase 3 – Dissemination of results
– Organisation of an event / workshop in Croatia for the presentation of results.
