We are pleased to inform you about the SED 2019/Energy Democracy Summit that is going to take place from 10 till 12 April 2019 in Pula, Croatia.

 

The Summit, announced during the Workgroup for Environmental Quality and Agriculture on the 17th October 2018 in Split, will cover the broader regional context of energy sector complexity and security of supply, with a special focus on discussing the energy policy priorities by 2030, with a view to the 2050s. The participation of a significant number of top experts is expected on the summit.

 

The Croatian Chamber of Economy is a sponsor and part of the Organizational and Executive Committee of the Summit. Actively following energy policy issues, it will contribute to the summit with three panels:

 

  • Heating  – The importance and position of heating in the new energy strategy of the Republic of Croatia; Optimization of thermal systems and new technologies; Used heat energy measurement
  •  Energy Policy – Overview of energy consumers
  • Gas Market – Role of gas in energy transition
