The Centre for Industrial Development (CIRAZ), a sector within the Croatian Chamber of Economy, has hold a two-day workshop on the preparation and admission of projects financed by EU funds. The emphasis has been on European Territorial Cooperation, namely Interreg IPA CBC Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro.

A press conference took place before the event. Speakers on the press conference were:

Nevenko Herceg – President of the Government of the Herzegovina-Neretva County Mirjana Čagalj – President of the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce
Tomislav Radoš – Vice President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy
Marko Šantić – President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Also, during the workshop, on the 22nd of November, a coordination of the representatives of the chambers of economy members of the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro took place.

This event is a result of the long-term successful cooperation within the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce and the incentive of President Čagalj after the Forum that took place in June in Pescara and Chieti. President Čagalj invited members of the Forum from the eastern side of the Adriatic to intensify activities within the programmes of European Territorial Cooperation. First workshop took place in August in Split and the one in Mostar is the second one. Meanwhile, a list of project proposals that could be applied within the 2nd Call for proposals of the Interreg IPA CBC Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro has been made. All of these activities have been done with the help and support of CIRAZ.
