On the 16th of November, President Joze Tomaš participated in the 9th Mediterranean Tourism Forum During ASCAME Meda Week in #Barcelona

The Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders (MedaWeek Barcelona), this year to its 16th edition, hosts a wide variety of forums, endorsing the key economic sectors and the cultural values of the Mediterranean region.

The 9th Mediterranean Tourism Forum introduced a number of Best Practice examples from the Tourism sector, tackling many important issues. Data show that the whole Mediterranean area is a target destination as a “product”, pointing out that a good marketing strategy for the whole Mediterranean is advisable.

Earlier in the morning of the 16th November, the new Memorandum of Understanding between ASCAME and Forum AIC was signed, sealing up the collaboration between the two associations.

The bilateral collaboration between the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) and the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce (FORUM AIC) in favor of the socio-economic development of the Adriatic-Ionian and Mediterranean area has been strong since 2008 and it is now enhanced by the signature of a renewed MoU, in the light of the important results that emerged from the collaboration of our two associations in the past years.
