FORA OF CIVIL SOCIETY IN THE SARAJEVO DECLARATION, 24th May 2023

The three Fora of Civil Society have been mentioned in the Sarajevo Declaration, signed by the AII Council of Ministers on the 24^th of May in Sarajevo, on the occasion of the 8^th EUSAIR Forum, under the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency.

The AII Council of Ministers is the decision making body of the Adriatic & Ionian Initiative. It meets once a year at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs. The Council adopts Declarations endorsing the work done during the annual presidency and setting objectives and strategy for the future period of cooperation.

Over the last few years, the three Fora have been mentioned several times in AII/EUSAIR meetings of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and they have been recognized as the main actors for the implementation of the “EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region” (EUSAIR).
